YFX Wing Patterns

The Wing Patterns indicator scans for many different kinds of Patterns using an XABCD structure. The term Wing Pattern is used to refer to all types of patterns based on a general XABCD structure, which is plotted in an alternate high-low extreme form. If you connect these points on a chart, it usually looks like the wings of a butterfly, thus the name Wing Pattern. These patterns fit very well with the Harmonic patterns. Other patterns that can be searched are stored in an external file.

YFX Symbol Watermark

	The Symbol Watermark indicator is used to display a watermark on your chart, which makes it easy to see at a glance the symbol information for any chart. The displayed information includes: Symbol Name and Timeframe on the chart Description of the currencies Tag line, which can contain any user-defined information All the information can be displayed on the chart so that it can be easily read. PARAMETERS The Symbol Watermark indicator has parameters that can be set to customize which information is displayed. Parameters are organized into categories: Indicator Font Color Display Also note that the categories are not mutually exclusive. Information may be applicable to multiple categories but will only be shown in one section for simplicity. All the parameters are assigned to default values that work fine in most cases. It is advised not to change default values until one becomes more familiar with the indicator. Yancy Indicator Parameters These parameters control the overall functionality of the indicator. More specifically, it controls how the Symbol Watermark indicator is used within the trading terminal. The parameters in this section are: IndicatorName – Default: YFX Symbol Watermark This is the indicator name that is displayed in the chart data window. Changing this value does not impact the indicator’s calculations. Font Parameters The Symbol Watermark font parameters allow the text parameters to be changed. Parameters in this section are: FontName – Default: Verdana Font used to display text for indicator. Can be any font available on your system. LargeFontSize – Default: 56 Size of largest font used to display the chart symbol. This is the font used to display the symbol. SmallFontSize – Default: 24 Size of smallest font used to display the chart symbol. This is the font used to display the description of the symbol. TagLineFontSize – Default: 8 Default size of font used to display tag line on the chart. Color Parameters Colors can be strongly preferred by users. The Symbol Watermark indicator allows all colors to be changed according to each user’s preference. Parameters in this section are: ColorText – Default: DarkGray Color used to draw text on chart BlendPercentage – Default: 0 Amount of blend (transparency) to use for text color Display Parameters The display parameters control how the watermark is located on the screen and which information is displayed.. Parameters in this section are: DisplaySymbol – Default: true Display symbol information if true DisplayDescription – Default: true Display symbol description if true DisplayTagLine – Default: false Display tag line if true. TagLineText – Default: http://www.yancyfx.com Text to display as tag line. Only shown if flag to display it is enabled. OffsetX – Default: 0 Adjustment of location along the time axis. This is an offset from the center of the chart OffsetY – Default: 0 Adjustment of location along the price axis. This is an offset from the center of the chart RowBufferHeight – Default: 20 Amount of space to leave between lines of text in the indicator. Value is in number of pixels.
