Wrong contract, simple mistake.

Futures contracts have expiration dates, and I didn’t double-check.

My position got liquidated, so I closed it, took the loss, and reentered the right contract.

Ended up making a profit after, but that loss?

Completely avoidable.

Whether it’s strategy or execution, a loss is a loss.

Lesson learned... details matter.
