In my 20s, I wanted it all and I wanted it fast. The adrenaline of being glued to Level 2 quotes at 9:30am, chasing momentum, watching P&L flip green and red in seconds. Day trading matched that energy perfectly. It was intense, exciting, and honestly... kind of addictive.

But I was also a losing trader for the first two years. The fast money I chased humbled me more times than I can count.

Slowly, through hundreds of hours of screen time, journaling every trade, and learning to manage my emotions as much as my positions... it clicked. I became consistently profitable. And my relationship with the market started to change.

In my 30s, I still day trade. But swing trading became my balance. 🧘‍♀️ Holding positions overnight, zooming out to the bigger picture, letting trades breathe instead of white-knuckling every 5-minute candle. It fits the life I've built and honestly, it fits the trader I've become.

Your strategy doesn't have to stay the same forever. It should evolve as you do.
